Ashley June Moore

life-long learner | lover of words | student of the Word

As a lover of words, Ashley June Moore has been involved in public speaking since the age of nine, and she started writing and performing spoken word poetry as a freshman in high school. Ashley published a book of poems in 2012, released a CD in 2014, and has been a featured artist at local, regional, and national venues. She served as a campus minister working primarily with Black college students for nearly ten years, and earned a Master of Divinity through Fuller Theological Seminary with a concentration in Youth, Family and Culture. Ashley and her husband, Thomas, relocated back home to St. Louis, MO after spending several years in Seattle, WA, and she currently works to help increase the number of low-income, first generation, and underrepresented high school students in the St. Louis area who pursue higher education.
