Easter Proclamation
They killed the Author of Life, but death couldn’t defeat Him
From the cross to the tomb, roll back the stone you won’t see Him
‘cause divinity took on flesh, and by death defeated death
Bore our sin guilt and shame,
Set us free, broke these chains
So, let’s praise His Holy Name
Let our voices resound as we gladly cast down our crowns
Crying Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come
The Risen King, God’s only Son
The Name above all names
Worthy to receive all glory, honor, and praise
Wounded for our transgressions
Bruised for our iniquities
Endured hell on earth just so we could have peace
If we had 10,000 tongues it wouldn’t be sufficient
To praise the One who will reign forever
All Powerful
Omniscient
Jehovah Rapha. Adonai
Elohim. El Shaddai
Our Savior, God and King
Who brings hope and redeems
So lift your head, and wipe your eyes
‘cause He’s not dead, He’s alive
And as long as we have breath
We’ll raise our voices in worship
of the One who conquered death
